Researchers at the New York Genome Center (NYGC) have once again been recognized for their exceptional scientific influence, with their work ranking among the top 1% most-cited papers in their respective fields.
For the seventh consecutive year, NYGC Core Faculty Members Rahul Satija, PhD, and Neville Sanjana, PhD, have been named to Clarivate Analytics’ 2025 Highly Cited Researchers list. Dr. Satija, Associate Professor at the Center for Genomics and Systems Biology at New York University (NYU), and Dr. Sanjana, Professor of Biology, Neuroscience and Physiology, Arts and Science, and Core Faculty Member, New York Genome Center, were recognized for their impactful contributions in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics.

The Highly Cited Researchers list identifies scientists who have produced multiple papers ranking in the top 1% by citations for their field and year, reflecting both influence and sustained impact over the last decade.
