NYGC’s Autism Research: A Conversation with Lara Winterkorn and Michael Zody

In recognition of Autism Acceptance Month, the New York Genome Center (NYGC) reflects on our work in autism research. In the video below, two members of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Group sat down (virtually) with Lara Winterkorn, MS, Scientific Collaboration Manager, Neuropsychiatric and Cancer, and Michael Zody, PhD, Scientific Director, Computational Biology. They discuss the work the NYGC has done in autism research, the importance and challenges of this work, how this work connects to the autism community, and the future of autism research.
