Kristy Kang (Scientific Research Coordinator) supports CGND’s diverse projects in a role upstream of NGS data acquisition and is involved in developing and utilizing microscopy and molecular techniques in efforts to better understand the pathogenesis of ALS. Kristy received her BS in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University. Upon graduation, she joined Dr. Di Cristofano’s laboratory at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she studied the PI3K signaling pathway and the role it plays in thyroid physiology and pathophysiology to discover potential therapeutic approaches for advanced thyroid cancer.
