Michael Zody, PhD, Scientific Director, Computational Biology, Presents Overview of COVID-19 Genomics Research at NYGC
On January 15, 2021, Michael Zody, PhD, Scientific Director, Computational Biology, New York Genome Center (NYGC), presented a 10-minute overview of COVID-19 genomics research at the NYGC at Bionano Genomics’ virtual Next-Generation Cytogenomics Symposium.
Dr. Zody was a featured speaker at the symposium’s panel focused on the work of the COVID-19 Host Genome Structural Variation (SV) Consortium, which released its first study, analyzing the genomes of 37 patients with severe COVID-19 disease, the previous week.
