NEW YORK, NY (June 24, 2022) – GenomeWeb recently interviewed New York Genome Center’s Tom Maniatis, PhD, and Soren Germer, PhD, on the Center’s collaboration with Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s Ob/Gyn department to develop women-focused whole-genome sequencing tests through the recently established Women’s Genetic Center.

They also discuss the role of Ultima Genomics’ new sequencing platform in reducing sequencing costs, and how our partnership with Columbia is vital to propelling research.
